Driving west from La Crosse across the Cass Street Bridge:
- Drive west onto the Cass street bridge (blue bridge)
- Continue west onto Highways 14/16/61 to Minnesota
- Go straight through the La Crescent stop lights for 2 blocks to the 4-way stop (3rd Street South and Elm Street)
- At the 4 - way stop turn right onto Houston County Road 29/Elm Street
- Continue to follow Houston County Road 29 out of town
- As you drive up the hill before the stone quarry the highway turns to Winona County 1, continue for 6.5 miles
- We are on the left side of road, blue and white sign, fire # 30707
Driving west from Wisconsin on Interstate - 90 to Minnesota:
- Turn right at the Dakota exit #270
- At the end of the ramp turn left onto Winona County Road 12 or Riverview Drive
- Turn left at Center Street or Winona County Highway 12
- You will drive across the interstate on an overpass, continue straight on Winona County Highway 12 out of town to the top of the hill
- As you are about to crest the top of the hill turn left onto Winona County Road 1/Apple Blossom Drive
- Drive exactly 1 mile and we are on the right side of the road, blue and white sign, fire #30707
Driving south from Winona:
- Drive south on US Highways -14/61
- Turn right at the Dakota exit and then turn left at the top of the ramp onto Winona County Highway 101
- You will drive over the I-90 overpass, at the T turn right onto Winona County Road 12 or Riverview Drive
- Drive to Center Street or Winona County Highway 12 and turn right
- You will drive over the I-90 overpass, then continue straight on Winona County Highway 12 out of town
- Just as you are about to crest the top of the hill turn left onto Winona County Road 1/Apple Blossom Drive
- Drive exactly 1 mile and we are on the right side of the road, blue and white sign, fire #30707.
Driving east from Hokah, MN:
- Drive east on Minnesota Highway 16 East
- Turn left at the La Crescent stop lights onto South 3rd Street and continue two blocks to the 4-way stop (3rd Street South and Elm Street)
- Turn right at the 4-way stop onto Houston County Road 29/Elm Street
- Continue to follow Houston County Road 29 out of town
- Halfway up the hill before the stone quarry the highway turns to Winona County Road 1, continue for 6.5 miles
- We are on the left side of road, blue and white sign, fire # 30707
